This year we started a new and powerful collaboration with BigBrother, BigSisters. Our JM students apply to serve a "Big" to a "Little" at Gage or Washington Elementary Schools. The matches meet weekly to forge friendships, have fun together, and connect. A huge thank you to BBBS and our partnering schools .... and especially to our JM Bigs (photos are of some of the current matches).
We are currently seeking more high school 'Bigs' for this year and for the 2025-26 school year. In addition to doing something meaningful & fun, JM students can earn high school credit. Stop in and see Mrs. Vasquez in 3-111, if interested.

Come out and support, and fill up on waffles & sausage!

Can you help? Check your closets. Your shoe bins. Under your kid's bed :)
Thank you in advance!

Happy School Counselors Week to some of the VERY BEST! We are so thankful for Ms. Cox, Mr. Ness, Mr. Hutchins & Ms. Nauman for their tireless dedication to our students & families.

Our Level 1/Newcomer Students had a fantastic visit to Gage Elementary today to spend time with Level 1/Newcomer Students there. They had fun forging new friendships, practicing their English skills, and connecting.

Join to learn more about earning college credit while in high school.

Congratulations Coach Riggott!! Kyle Riggot, JM Teacher & Coach, deservedly won the Rochester Sports Association Coach of the Year for his work this year with our Rocket Football Team. Way to go Coach and Staff.

Postsecondary Enrollment Options (PSEO) is a program that allows 10th, 11th, and 12th-grade students to earn both high school and college credit while still in high school through enrollment in and successful completion of college courses. PSEO students are not charged tuition, books, or fees for items required to participate in a course.
If you are interested in learning more about PSEO at RPS, join us for an information night on February 20 at 6:30 p.m. at RCTC, or scan the QR code to join virtually. If you have questions, contact your building's counseling office.

Shout out to students in Señora Torres-Herbeck's Spanish 4 class, and the presentations they prepared & shared at our Coffee & Conversation this morning with our Spanish speaking families.
